The wiring between an EV-Controls T2-C and a Tesla drive unit, already made. Terminated, labeled and continuity-tested, so the day your motor goes in is about mounting it, not about building a loom from a pinout.
Measure the route, not the straight line — around the firewall, along the frame rail, with slack at both ends. Between two lengths, take the longer one. Need something outside these three? Email us.

The panel is the 12V side of the car: fuses and relays for pumps, fans, contactor enables and lights, built to your circuit list. Quoted together, it arrives wired to match this harness.

Why buy it made
A drive unit harness is not hard in principle. It is dozens of terminations that all have to be right, in a place you cannot easily get to once the motor is in, on a system that does not tolerate a marginal crimp. Most of the builds that sit unfinished for two years are not waiting on a motor.
Cinch 30-pin at the controller, TE Ampseal or Molex at the drive unit, every pin crimped and seated with the correct tooling.
Circuits marked so the install is readable a year later, when something needs tracing and the build is a memory.
Continuity checked end to end before it ships, so a fault you find on the car is a fault you introduced, not one you inherited.
Split braided sleeving, not expandable loom. It opens along its length, so trimming a flying lead to your own bulkhead location is a cut and a re-lay rather than a rebuild.

Compatibility
Our plug-and-play harnesses cover the EV-Controls T2-C to Tesla Model S/X drive units, and nothing else. That is deliberate — a harness is only plug and play if both ends are known. Everything else ties into the car through the Chassis Tie-In Fuse/Relay Panel instead.
A prebuilt harness removes the terminations, not the hazard. The drive unit it connects to is fed by a pack that can kill you. Insulated tools, a service disconnect, and never working on a live system alone.
A printed wiring schematic ships in the box with every harness. Read it before you route anything permanent.
Questions
Measure the route rather than the distance — around the firewall, along the frame rail, up and over anything in the way, with slack at both ends for service. 16′ is the base length, but most conversions end up needing 20′ once the route is measured. If you are between two lengths, take the longer one: excess can be routed, and short cannot be fixed.
Yes. Email will@buckwired.com with the route you need and we will build to it. The three stock lengths cover most cars, but long-wheelbase and mid-engine layouts sometimes do not fit any of them.
The throttle pedal. Choosing flying leads means that run arrives unterminated at the connector end, so you can pass it through a bulkhead or firewall grommet without fighting a connector through the hole, then cut it to your own length. You crimp the contacts at the connector end once it is routed — that part is on you, and it is the trade for being able to run it cleanly.
No. This harness carries the connection between the controller and the drive unit. Pack-side switching, precharge and fusing live in the HV Contactor Box, which is a separate part.
No. The photos show the harness plugged into a T2-C and a pedal so you can see where each end lands. You receive the harness only. The controller comes from EV-Controls, and the pedal is whichever one your build uses; the harness terminates to it, or arrives as flying leads if you choose that above.
No — our plug-and-play harnesses are T2-C only. For an AEM VCU, Dynam Labs VCU+, Netgain X1 or Curtis, the integration happens through the Chassis Tie-In Fuse/Relay Panel, built around your circuit list.
Both dual configurations are stock: LDU + SDU, and dual SDUs. Select it above and the part number changes with it.
